California High School Basketball - Cypress edges Woodbridge
December 15, 2016: Cypress, CA 90630 The Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA), 43-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Centurions (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Mira Costa got by Beckman (Irvine, CA), 68-26, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Woodbridge will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 52-41 non-league win over Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-6.
