New Jersey High School Basketball - Whippany Park ripped by Pequannock
February 2, 2017: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 The Pequannock Golden Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Whippany Park Wildcats to 23 in the Golden Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Panthers now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butler for a Northwest Jersey - Independence contest on Tuesday, February 7. Pequannock will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-29 non-league win over Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-5.
The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Boonton (Boonton, NJ). The Bombers enter the Freelance challenge with a 3-20 record. In their last challenge, Boonton was crushed by Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ), 60-16, in a non-league challenge.
