March 23, 2012: Corona, CA 92881 The South Spartans (Torrance, CA) volleyball tipped the host Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, South upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA) to play the Heralds in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 24. The Heralds go into the outing with a record of 4-8. Whittier Christian won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA)
The Sharks now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Palos Verdes for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 24. Santiago will play a Sea Kings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 17-5.
