New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe can't hold off La Cueva
January 20, 2018: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The La Cueva Bears basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Santa Fe Demons to 30 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Grande for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22.
The Demons (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Wildcats enter the contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Clovis nudged Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 33-23, in a league contest.
