The East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) basketball nipped the host Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN), 38-34 in Saturday's league test.

The Trojans (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Dunbar (Dayton, OH). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record.

The Lions now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Shelbyville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Rushville will encounter a Golden Bears squad coming off a 44-20 league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-15.
