The University Trojans basketball squad (Waco, TX), was topped 52-42 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX)

The Chaparrals (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 16-7 record. In their last outing, Veterans Memorial defeated Waco (Waco, TX), 52-32, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Springs for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. University will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 43-29 league win over Alvin (Alvin, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 13-6.
