The Islanders now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport for a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. Mercer Island will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Federal Way (Federal Way, WA). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Blanchet (Seattle, WA). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Bishop Blanchet gained a win over Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
