September 11, 2010: Altoona, WI 54720 The Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI) volleyball overcame the visiting Mayville Cardinals (Mayville, WI), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Railroaders (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Luxemburg-Casco achieved victory over Sevastopol (Sturgeon Bay, WI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cardinals encounter the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers (Jackson, WI) in a Flyway battle, on Thursday, September 16. Mayville will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 8-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Horicon (Horicon, WI).
