September 28, 2012: Abington, PA 19001 The Bensalem Fighting Owls football team (Bensalem, PA), was knocked off 39-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA)
The Galloping Ghosts (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA). The Falcons come into the Suburban One - National challenge with a 2-2 record.
The Fighting Owls now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to William Tennent for a Suburban One - National challenge on Friday, October 5. Bensalem will meet a Panthers team coming off a 17-0 league loss to Council Rock North (Newtown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
