The Hopewell Vikings football team (Aliquippa, PA), was knocked off 28-10 in Friday's league challenge with the host West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA)

The Indians (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Warriors come into the WPIAL AAA Parkway challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Valley knocked off Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA), 42-14, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moon Area for a WPIAL AAA Parkway challenge on Friday, September 28. Hopewell will meet a Tigers team coming off a 41-17 league loss to Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
