September 21, 2012: Orland Park, IL 60462 The Sandburg Eagles football team (Orland Park, IL), was beaten 28-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL)
The Griffins (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders come into the Southwest Suburban - Blue challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Bolingbrook achieved victory over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 45-28, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joliet for a Southwest Suburban - Blue challenge on Saturday, September 29. Sandburg will meet a Steelmen team coming off a 21-3 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 0-5.
