The Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) football edged the visiting Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), 35-34 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 21. Milford will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Green Knights enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 42-8 league loss to Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE).
