Kentucky High School Football - Calloway County felled by Marshall County
September 14, 2012: Benton, KY 42025 The Calloway County Lakers football team (Murray, KY), was knocked off 48-27 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY)
The Marshals (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Caldwell County knocked off Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY), 52-14, in a league challenge.
The Lakers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Oak for a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, September 21. Calloway County will meet a Purple Flash team coming off a 64-0 non-league win over Reidland (Paducah, KY). The Purple Flash record now stands at 3-2.
