In their next game, the Mustangs face the Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 14. Yorba Linda will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Pioneers enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 29-21 non-league win over Saugus (Saugus, CA).
The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Damien (La Verne, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Damien thwarted Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 21-14, in a non-league bout.
