September 18, 2014: Leland, NC 28451 The West Brunswick Trojans football team (Shallotte, NC), was ripped 52-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC)
The Scorpions (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Purnell Swett trounced Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 38-34, in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laney for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. West Brunswick will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 27-21 non-league loss to New Bern (New Bern, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-3.
