January 11, 2021: Churdan, IA 50050 The Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA) basketball felled the visiting Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), 44-27 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rockets (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Ar-We-Va was beaten by Audubon (Audubon, IA), 53-30, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host St. Edmond for a non-league test on Thursday, January 14. Northwest Webster will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 51-45 league win over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Gaels record now stands at 2-8.
