Next, the Wolverines face the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A contest, on Monday, April 26. Polk County will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Madison (Marshall, NC).
