The West Brook Bruins basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Sterling Rangers to 59 in the Bruins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Porte for a 6A Region III District 21 contest on Friday, January 16.

The Rangers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, North Shore ran past Deer Park (Deer Park, TX), 77-42, in a league contest.
