Virginia High School Softball - Handley loses to Meridian
April 16, 2024: Winchester, VA 20601 The Meridian Mustangs softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Handley Judges to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Meridian moves its record to 2-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA) to clash with the Falcons in a Northwestern game on Friday, April 19. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 6-4. Fauquier won 11-0 in their recent league game against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA)
In their next game, the Judges clash with the Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 17. Handley will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Phoenix come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 19-0 league loss to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA).
