August 30, 2016: Leverett's Chapel, TX 75666 The Leverett's Chapel Lions (Leverett's Chapel, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Leverett's Chapel upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Metro Christian (Tulsa, OK) to face the Patriots in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 2-0.
The Eagles now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bosqueville for a 2A Region II District 15 outing on Friday, September 2. Harmony will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Vanguard College Prep (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
