Game Summary
It was a classic battle of two very evenly matched teams. Both teams had early scoring chances but strong pitching prevailed and it wasn't until the bottom of the 4th that Live Oak broke through and scored on a throwing error that rolled out of play.
After falling behind 0-2, ..Junior Lyndsey Sizemore worked a walk, ...Number five hitter Sandra Alcantar laid down a beautiful sacrafice bunt, ..Sizemore never missed a beat moving from first two third. The critical error would follow as the Colusa first baseman through low in an attempt to nail Sizemore at third, ..the ball squirted by and Sizemore trotted home for live oak lead, and first run in 11 innings against Colusa.
Colusa loaded the bases in the top of the 4th with one out, but a fielders choice forced Emiley Correa at the plate and the next batter grounded out to the shortstop.
