The Coosa Eagles basketball team (Rome, GA), was toppled 72-55 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaFayette for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. Trion will confront a Ramblers team coming off a 57-41 league win over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Ramblers record now stands at 10-1.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Darlington (Rome, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Darlington beat Trion (Trion, GA), 71-57, in a league battle.
