Missouri High School Basketball - Eldon overwhelmed by Battle
February 1, 2017: Columbia, MO 65202 The Eldon Mustangs basketball team (Eldon, MO), was overwhelmed 78-36 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO)
The Spartans now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeSmet Jesuit for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Battle will meet a Spartans team coming off a 83-53 league loss to Chaminade (St. Louis, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 8-7.
The Mustangs (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against Warsaw (Warsaw, MO). The Wildcats enter the Tri-County - Southwest contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Warsaw triumphed over Osceola (Osceola, MO), 43-40, in a non-league contest.
