Michigan High School Basketball - Reading knocked off by Union City

The Union City Chargers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Reading Rangers to 34 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Jonesville for a Big 8 bout on Tuesday, February 28. Union City will play a Comets squad coming off a 60-50 league loss to Quincy (Quincy, MI). The Comets record now stands at 10-8.

Next up, the Rangers play the Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI) in a Big 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 28. Reading will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 60-50 league win over Jonesville (Jonesville, MI).
