North Carolina High School Basketball - Columbia overwhelmed by Plymouth
January 14, 2017: Plymouth, NC 27962 The Plymouth Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Columbia Wildcats to 38 in the Vikings league victory on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Creswell for a Coastal 10 1A contest on Tuesday, January 17. Plymouth will battle a Tigers team coming off a 59-54 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
The Wildcats (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last bout, Pasquotank County was crushed by Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC), 78-56, in a league bout.
