Texas High School Basketball - Southland ripped by Roosevelt
December 10, 2016: Southland, TX 79364 The Roosevelt Eagles basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Southland Eagles to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colorado for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Roosevelt will meet a Wolves team coming off a 43-36 non-league win over Stanton (Stanton, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 5-5.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Motley County (Matador, TX). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Motley County bounced Wilson (Wilson, TX), 43-39, in a non-league challenge.
