December 17, 2016: Canton, OH 44707 The Canton South Wildcats (Canton, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH), 43-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Salem (Salem, OH). The Quakers go into the Northeastern Buckeye outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Salem was tipped by Carrollton (Carrollton, OH), 54-46, in a league outing.
The Cardinals now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Benedictine for a non-league outing on Friday, December 23.
