The Waelder Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Burton Panthers to 35 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yorktown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Waelder will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 48-35 non-league win over Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-6.
