California High School Baseball - Evergreen Valley loses to Monte Vista Christian
April 30, 2022: Watsonville, CA 95076 The Evergreen Valley Cougars baseball team (San Jose, CA), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA)
The Mustangs now hold a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everett Alvarez for a PCAL - Mission outing on Monday, May 2. Monte Vista Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 15-5 league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-15.
Next, the Cougars confront the Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) in a Santa Teresa outing, on Tuesday, May 3. Evergreen Valley will attempt to advance on its 16-5 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 15-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA).
