May 14, 2022: Orland Park, IL 60462 The Plainfield East Bengals baseball team (Plainfield, IL), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL)
The Eagles now hold a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 17. Sandburg will confront a Knights team coming off a 14-10 league loss to Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Knights record now stands at 11-12.
Next, the Bengals confront the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) in a Southwest Prairie outing, on Monday, May 16. Plainfield East will attempt to advance on its 18-11 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 8-22 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL).
