The Bowling Green Purples basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the visiting Warren East Raiders to 40 in the Purples league victory on Friday.

The Purples now sport a 21-3 record. They play next when they travel to Russellville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 16. Bowling Green will meet a Panthers team coming off a 69-53 league win over Todd County Central (Elkton, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 15-6.

The Raiders (2-21) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 17-8 record. In their last bout, Franklin-Simpson overwhelmed Allen County (Scottsville, KY), 69-67, in a non-league bout.
