The Anderson Trojans basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Elgin Wildcats to 42 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pflugerville for a 5A Region IV District 25 contest on Saturday, January 2.

The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX). The Rattlers enter the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, San Marcos lost by Seguin (Seguin, TX), 55-47, in a non-league contest.
