The Belton Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Connally Cougars to 48 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vista Ridge for a non-league contest on Monday, December 21.

The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Akins (Austin, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 11-2 record.
