The Cozad Haymakers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Hershey Panthers to 60 in the Haymakers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Haymakers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valentine for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 12. Cozad will confront a Badgers team coming off a 65-60 non-league loss to Todd County (Mission, SD). The Badgers record now stands at 2-1.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE). The Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, St. Patrick's ran past Sutherland (Sutherland, NE), 52-49, in a league contest.
