Kansas High School Basketball - Hiawatha knocked off by Concordia
January 25, 2024: Hiawatha, KS 66434 The Concordia Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Hiawatha Red Hawks to 29 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson Heights for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Concordia will meet a Cobras team coming off a 58-25 non-league loss to Hayden (Topeka, KS). The Cobras record now stands at 3-7.
The Red Hawks (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Thunder enter the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Nemaha Central ran past Baldwin (Baldwin, KS), 45-40, in a non-league contest.
