The Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA), 51-35 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Eagles now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckeye for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Holy Savior Menard will meet a Panthers team coming off a 47-44 non-league loss to LaSalle (Olla, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-14.

The Green Devils (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record.
