The North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle to 27 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hanover for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. North Mecklenburg will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-30 non-league win over New Bern (New Bern, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.

The Screaming Eagle (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Myers Park triumphed over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 60-32, in a non-league contest.
