The Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX) football edged the visiting Shiner Comanches (Shiner, TX), 27-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Refugio will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 14-0 record after their 34-13 non-league win over Cooper (Cooper, TX).
