The Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) basketball knocked off the host Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), 55-44 in Saturday's league test.

The Indians (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Aquinas (Augusta, GA). The Fightin' Irish go into the A D2 Region 8 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Aquinas went down by Greene County (Greensboro, GA), 71-43, in a league test.

The Red Devils now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harlem for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Lincoln County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-49 non-league win over Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
