The Newcomerstown Trojans basketball team (Newcomerstown, OH), was overwhelmed 77-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting East Canton Hornets (East Canton, OH)

The Hornets now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Malvern for a Inter-Valley battle on Tuesday, February 6. East Canton will confront a Hornets team coming off a 71-55 league win over Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 16-0.

The Trojans (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Malvern (Malvern, OH). The Hornets come into the Inter-Valley battle with a 16-0 record.
