December 19, 2023: Neches, TX 75779 The Neches Tigers (Neches, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX), 64-53 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Union Hill (Gilmer, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Union Hill went down by Yantis (Yantis, TX), 51-41, in a league test.
The Polar Bears now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Aquilla for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Frost will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 76-31 league win over Gholson (Waco, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 6-11.
