The Milford Eagles basketball team (Milford, NE), was overwhelmed 57-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE)

The Cougars now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heartland for a C2 District 2 battle on Friday, February 16. Sandy Creek will battle a Huskies team coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Osceola (Osceola, NE). The Huskies record now stands at 6-11.

The Eagles (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Boys Town (Boys Town, NE). The Cowboys come into the non-league battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Boys Town trounced Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE), 55-53, in a non-league battle.
