The Valley Stream South Falcons basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Lawrence Golden Tornadoes to 35 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friends Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27.

The Golden Tornadoes (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Island Trees (Levittown, NY). The Bulldogs enter the Section 8 A-1 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Island Trees was routed by Friends Academy (Locust Valley, NY), 65-42, in a league contest.
