The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish basketball team (Kankakee, IL), was toppled 53-39 in Thursday's league battle with the host Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL)

The Gladiators now possess a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waukegan for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. Christ the King will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-47 league loss to Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.

The Fightin' Irish (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave come into the Chicagoland Christian battle with a 7-12 record.
