The Sulphur Golden Tors basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Welsh Greyhounds to 38 in the Golden Tors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Golden Tors now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Sulphur will battle a Warriors team coming off a 73-62 non-league win over Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-5.

The Greyhounds (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Pickering ran past Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA), 58-42, in a non-league contest.
