North Carolina High School Basketball - Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology thwarts Rocky River

The Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) basketball felled the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), 69-51 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cardinal (6-0) will now prepare for their test against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, East Gaston defeated North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 57-52, in a non-league test.

The Ravens now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence for a 4A Southwestern test on Friday, December 9. Rocky River will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 60-54 non-league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
