The High Point Central Bison basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Southern Guilford Storm to 41 in the Bison non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bison now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomasville Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. High Point Central will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 48-42 non-league loss to Rock (Gainesville, FL). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-7.

The Storm (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Eastern Guilford was nudged by Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 66-59, in a non-league contest.
