The Nemaha Valley Raiders basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Jefferson West Tigers to 39 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Nemaha Valley will meet a Trojans team coming off a 44-25 league loss to Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 1-8.

The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Atchison County (Effingham, KS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 9-0 record.
