Iowa High School Basketball - Oskaloosa ripped by Mt. Pleasant
January 21, 2012: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 The Mt. Pleasant Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Oskaloosa Indians to 40 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Madison for a Southeast contest on Friday, January 27. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Bloodhounds team coming off a 56-53 non-league win over Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 4-7.
The Indians (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Warriors enter the Little Hawkeye contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Norwalk was routed by Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA), 61-37, in a non-league contest.
