Minnesota High School Basketball - Kasson-Mantorville can't hold off Northfield
December 16, 2011: Northfield, MN 55057 The Northfield Raiders basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets to 49 in the Raiders non-league victory on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbury for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Northfield will meet a Royals team coming off a 61-42 league win over Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Royals record now stands at 4-0.
The Komets (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights go into the Hiawatha Valley - Blue bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Kenyon-Wanamingo was edged by Byron (Byron, MN), 46-27, in a league bout.
